McKinzie & Associates, LLC is proud to announce that Ron Kurtz is joining the firm as a full time collision Reconstructionist and legal counsel. Ron is an ACTAR accredited Reconstructionist and attorney licensed in Kansas and Missouri. Ron has consulted with McKinzie & Associates since October of 1998. Ron was a Kansas State Trooper from March 1994 to July 2000. During his service with the Kansas Highway Patrol, Ron was a member of the Patrol's Critical Highway Accident Response Team (CHART). He investigated fatality and serious injury collisions in northeast Kansas. In 2000, Ron left the Patrol to pursue his law degree. He attended Washburn University School of Law and graduated with honors in 2003. After four years of practicing law, Ron returns to McKinzie & Associates to continue his career as a collision Reconstructionist. In addition, he can provide expert services to our various clients regarding training, evidentiary, and other legal issues that arise during the course of specific cases.
