McKinzie & Associates would like to introduce an addition to our services. Joining our Critical Highway Incident reconstruction and Forensic Mapping services, we now provide Fire and Explosive incident investigations. Larry Smith has joined our team to serve as the senior Fire and Explosive group investigator. Larry enjoyed a great 34 year career in local and federal law enforcement. Serving in the investigation of many high profile cases such as; the 911 Pentagon terrorist attack, the 9 firefighter fatalities in Charleston, S.C. and a 28 fatality explosion in Gerdec, Albania as a part of the ATF National and International Response Team. Most recently, Larry was a lead investigator in the arson investigation of 10 church fires in east Texas. Larry recently retired from ATF and will be continuing with arson and explosives investigations as a part of the private sector. Larry will office in Tyler Texas and assist our reconstruction team with highway cases in the southern US. Larry has demonstrated advanced skills in forensic mapping and application of our spherical imaging system for high dynamic range imaging of critical incidents. These 360 degree images are powerful documentation tools and take demonstrative exhibits to a new level.
